This universal speaker mount supports loudspeakers weighing up to 60 lbs., quickly attaching them to walls, ceilings, overhangs, and other structural members. Speakers can be aimed and locked at almost any direction or angle through the use of independent pan, tilt, and swivel controls.Tilt adjustments are made at the side bolts of the speaker adapter plate. Panning adjustments are made at the mounting plate and a third rotation is available between the speaker and the support arm. This rotation i's especially useful in directing sound from ceiling and tinder-balcony locations where mounting space is limited.MultiMount's unique support arm acts as a convenient carrying handle to lift speakers into place then inserts into the mounting plate. Once inserted, the mounting plate does the job of handling all the weight. This leaves both hands free to complete the wiring and positioning process. Two-man installations are frequently reduced to one using the MultiMount over older mounting methods.MultiMount's MM-024 speaker adapter plate conforms to most standard speaker mounting hole patterns and an optional internal backing plate is available to adapt speakers without mounting holes.MultiMounts are built from tough alloy metals to insure reliable, permanent installations. Black and off-white powder coat finishes are available, packaged one per carton. A variety of assembly hardware, including wrench, safety cables, and instructions come standard in each kit.
