City Theatrical DMXcat-E 6100 Ethernet Expansion to DMXcat Multi Function Test Tool System

The DMXcat-E™ (P/N 6100) expands City Theatrical’s DMXcat® Multi Function Test Tool system by enabling Ethernet control of lighting fixtures. Alongside the existing features of the DMXcat, such as the use of the free smartphone application for iPhone and Android, the DMXcat-E facilitates the viewing and transmission of Ethernet protocols like ArtNet and Streaming ACN (sACN).

Moreover, the new DMXcat-E allows users to conduct cable testing for 5-pin XLR and Ethernet cables using the included external remote. It can read SMPTE timecode, as well as MIDI timecode and regular MIDI for audio and other entertainment projects, featuring bookmarking of timecode and save to file functions for added convenience. Additionally, DMXcat-E provides insights into DMX timings and PoE voltages.

Equipped with a flashlight, buzzer, and USB-C charging, the DMXcat-E hardware ensures comprehensive functionality. As more manufacturers integrate RDM Net into their fixtures, the DMXcat-E stands ready as the indispensable test tool for the future of lighting.
