2-channel Audiocom Power Supply with Speaker

SPS2001

The SPS2001 has all of the features of the PS2001 but adds the power of a built-in speaker and level control for monitoring intercom lines. The SPS2001 may be used as a stand-alone power supply and monitor box or in combination with a US2000A to create a two channel headset or speaker/mic Master Station (optional EGM-8/12/18 panel mount microphone required).

Like the PS2001 intercom power channels may be combined via the Combine/Isolate switch to form a single intercom power channel with double the capacity for large party-line applications. Rack mountable in a variety of modular configurations with one of several optional rack mount kits.

Like all of Audiocom's new two channel power supplies the SPS2001 now comes standard with revolutionary IAR (Instantaneous Auto Reset) technology for performance and safety. This and all Audiocom power supplies can operate in an unbalanced mode to be completely Clear-Com® compatible.

• Audio Input and Speaker
  • The two audio inputs provided are combined internally and sent as a monaural signal to the internal speaker amplifier. These inputs can be used with the speaker outputs of the master station when the master station uses a panel microphone instead of a headset
• Channel Status Indicators
  • The indicators are green for normal operation and red to warn of an overload or short circuit. The system resets itself once the overload or short circuit is located.
• Combine/Isolate Switch
  • Combines the audio signal of the two channels to create one powerful channel. Press the switch to combine the channels or leave the switch depressed to isolate the two channels.
• Intercom Channel Connectors
  • When the Isolate position on the Combine/Isolate switch is selected, each channel connector is individually powered and has completely separate intercom audio. When the Combine position is selected, each channel is still powered separately, but the audio sign
• Balanced and Unbalanced Selector Switch
  • Gives the user the choice to configure the unit for use in either an Audiocom® (Balanced) or Clear-Com (Unbalanced) system. The default setting is for “balanced”.
