EDGE-DUO's dual-membrane capsule design feeds two separate XLR output channels via the included Y-cable, allowing switchable polar patterns for accurate emulation of the characteristic on-and off-axis response of each mic for true multi-dimensional mic modeling. This large diaphragm condenser microphone maintains an exquisite, classic feel while offering ease of use. Plug in and experience emulations specifically made for The Edge family, with optimized mic preamp-equipped interfaces offering access to an extensive collection of legendary mic emulations.

Very good microphone. For an affordable price you get quality recording, polar pattern change and excellent modulations that sound true and legit. They have distinct sounds and I love the concept of coupling that with the flexibility of the dual membrane it really adds to the depth and gives you many options on sound.
