Microtech Gefell M 930 Ts-Stereo-ORTF Matched Pair of Studio Microphones with Double-Mount

Microtech-Gefell's M 930 Ts-Stereo ORTF is a package consisting of (2) M 930 Ts cardioid studio microphones, along with (2) MH 93.1 microphone holders, as well as a TD 93 double mic mount, all in wooden case.

Blends quality large diaphragm capsule technology with an optimized output transformer and recently-developed circuit design. It brings together signal transmission that features negligible distortion, with a very low noise floor, a lower low frequency response, and a high sound pressure level even at high external loads.

ORTF-arrangement of the microphones

Additionally, this package enables the implementation of the ORTF-arrangement of the mics, developed by French broadcasting, that can be easy handled as a variable solution. The microphones are positioned on the included TD 93 tandem mount (please refer to images above) at a distance of 170 mm and an angle of 110° - adjusted to ORTF. Distance and angle can be adjusted according to the application requirements. Signal transmission time and intensity differences are used for ORTF-stereo recordings.
