The AT5045 Microphone

Offers all the performance of a large-diaphragm, side-address condenser, packed within a convenient, stick-type body. It boasts A-T’s largest single diaphragm — period — despite the space limitations imposed by its housing. Its circuitry has been honed down to the essentials, enabling it to achieve unprecedented dynamic range that’s among of the widest of any mic on the market.

Every unit is hand-assembled and individually inspected for 100% quality control. Each mic is enclosed in an elegant housing of aluminum and brass with a high-quality gray finish for durability and low reflectivity.

Its discrete components have been specially-selected to deliver optimized performance. The circuitry and capsule assembly are mounted as a single block within a floating internal shock-mount, thus effectively decoupling the capsule from the body for exceptional vibration isolation. In fact, every aspect of this mic has been carefully considered to minimize any negative effects on the audio signal.
