DAS EVENT-121A 21" Bass-Horn Subwoofer with DSP, 1600W

Designed to provide the exceptional low-frequency support today's high-powered line array systems demand, the EVENT-121A delivers knee-buckling sub-bass. An onboard 1600W Class-D amplifier drives this 21" direct-radiating bass-horn producing tight, accurate bass that's never loose or boomy.

Engineered with the DAS 21LFN loudspeaker, the EVENT 121 features a 4" sandwich split voice coil. The sandwich-split design of the coil delivers superior heat dissipation, leading to better peak handling, greater efficiency, and increased service time. The speaker's optimized suspension system delivers exceptional sensitivity and response time while making sure nobody misses a beat.

The 121 is supplied with a 1600W Class-D amplifier that uses high-end 24-bit DSP to precisely and efficiently convert audio from analog to digital and back. Controls for gain, polarity, and a 63 to 200 Hz variable low-pass filter can be found on the rear panel of the sub.

When pairing multiple units, each can be set to cardioid with the simple press of a button. This adds directionality to the dispersion pattern, creating more even coverage, with less pooling of difficult to contain low frequencies.

Meant to be used with the Event series top boxes, the 121A is factory phase coherent with the 208, 210, and 212A. Precise alignment out of the box, no DSP, external tools, or adjustments required.
