Product Overview
Certified for us in Industrial and Marine Environments, the RS-802-IM from Clear-Com is a two-channel analog beltpack that can carry power and audio through the XLR-6 line connector. Compatible with all Encore partyline products, as well as the PL-Pro line and other partyline systems via Encore interfaces, each beltpack combines high headroom, low-noise audio and shaped frequency contour (the “Clear-Com Sound”) to deliver clear audio.
The RS-802-IM features LEDs on the top of the beltpack for visual indication of incoming and outgoing call signaling. A mic preamp enables intelligible voice communication for every volume level. The recessed rotary volume control, Talk and Call keys guard against accidental activation, while the RS-802-IM has low operating current to allow for more beltpacks in a daisy-chain. Additionally, a thumbwheel level adjustment is available for Program In.
A concealed DIP switch panel on the back of the RS-802-IM beltpack allows users to easily adjust control features such as switching between headset types, setting volume levels for headphones, adjusting overall volume settings, enabling LED signals, or adjusting the functions of the Call and Talk keys. Its belt clip allows a variety of ways to use the beltpack; users can clip it to a belt or lanyard, or users can mount the belt clip to a wall, pole or desk for fixed installations.
With its improved design the RS-802-IM comes with a rugged, reliable, IP-53 water rated, salt-mist, and dust resistant casing. By withstanding these harsh settings, this beltpack is certified in accordance with DNVGL-CG-0339, with Compass Safety Distance conformity, and with SOLAS Regulation II-I/3-5.2 to be asbestos-free.
