JVC GY-HC900STF20 HD CONNECTED CAM Studio Camcorder with 20x Fujinon Lens

Designed specifically for studio and multi-camera EFP use, the GY-HC900STF20 is the studio version of JVC's 2/3-inch broadcast camcorder from their CONNECTED CAM™ series. With no compromise in image quality, this camcorder offers a level of connectivity and quality not found in any other studio cameras. Delivering high sensitivity, low noise and wide dynamic range, when combined with the FS-900 studio fiber system, the GY-HC900STF20 is the ideal choice for high-end studio and EFP applications.

Based on the GY-HC900 CONNECTED CAM model, the GY-HC900STF20 features three 2/3-inch CMOS sensors for 10-bit, full HD imagery, and delivers excellent sensitivity (F12 at 60Hz, F13 at 50Hz in extended mode). The camera is also equipped with an industry standard B4 lens mount and four-position optical filter. A 3.5-inch LCD panel provides menu navigation, while an optional LCD monitor can be mounted as a studio viewfinder. The camera head connects directly to the FS-900 fiber back module seamlessly via a 68-pin interface, and feeds 3G-SDI signals, control, audio, sync, and intercom to the base station.

The GY-HC900STF20 also offers an HDR mode for creative flexibility, as well as HLG, J-Log and up to 120fps 1080p slow-motion recording. The new platform enables simultaneous ISO recording, low latency streaming, and simultaneous decoding for return video and IFB for non-compromising studio applications. Latency can be as low as 500ms for both outgoing and incoming video. Its complete IP workflow includes streaming performance up to 20 Mbps, ZiXi™ error correction with automatic repeat request (ARQ) and SMPTE 2022 forward error correction for reliable transmission.

Rounding out this offering is the Fujinon XA20SX85BERM, a telephoto 2/3 inch ENG lens with 2x range extender, ergonomic digital servo, Quick Zoom, and inner focus. Quick Zoom speed is improved to 0.7 seconds end to end. Quick Zoom provides for a rapid zoom movement to the telephoto position to check focus with the simple push of a button. Releasing the button returns the lens to the previously selected zoom position.
