Niagara Video HDi-SDI DVD-RW Drive with SDI Input

From industrial and educational applications, to scientific or even military, the HDi Video Recorder Series from Niagara Video offers High Definition DVD/Optical recording capabilities for a variety of markets. The compact HDi-SDI occupies 1 rack space and is equipped with a single DVD +-R/+RW drive, complete information display, Video I/O (including HDMI, Component and Composite with 2-channel stereo audio, as well as an SDI input), RJ-45 and 9-pin serial jacks for remote control, and on-board video help. Exclusive Dual-Stream Recording captures full HD video up to HD1080i/p (1920 x1080) in MPEG-4 & MPEG-2 and transcodes/scales to DVD format files simultaneously. Video Overlay is available (for Date and Time) in the picture, while the Responsive Display message screen shows status, record setup, playback, and disc burn options.

Record to Hard Drive, Optical Disc, or USB device. Even when changing media for different assignments, the removable disk option ensures complete security and easy use. Security options include selectable Network Security Connection to a network and file transfer to Windows machines and Secure Shell/SSH is standard. With cool cross-flow fan operation and an average power consumption of 2 Amps, the HDi Series runs smoothly for industrial level recording output.
