Product Overview

A part of their line of Flex Earset mics, DPA Microphones' 4188-DC-F-F10-LE features the 4188 Slim-type cardioid mic capsule. The 4188 line is a great choice when it comes to headworn microphones as it combines absolute pristine audio quality with unique and simple mechanical solutions as well as an extensive accessory line. This particular model is a beige earset (single ear) mounted cardioid mic that comes with an extra-long 120mm boom, and includes a foam windscreen, a set of ID rings and makeup cover, a clothing clip, and a fixed TA4F MiniXLR connector (compatible with Shure: Axient Digital series, ATX 100, PGXI, QLXDI, SCI, SLXI, UI, ULXI, ULXI-R4, URIM, UTI - all sold separately).

This series is ergonomically designed to fit easily and seamlessly and will adjust to fit any ear size and head shape while hardly visible and securely mounted. Earset style mics are the quickest to put on and often the best choice when miking needs to be fast and easy, e.g., when in conference use. The microphone can be moved from the left to the right ear, or into the optimum position just by rotating the boom and earhook.

The directional pickup pattern rejects side and background noise while creating higher separation from nearby sound sources which improves the gain-to-feedback ratio and gives more channel control. Staying true to the DPA legacy, the 4188-DC-F-F10-LE offers accurate, natural voice intelligibility along with very high SPL handling capabilities – one can both speak and sing into it with no hint of distortion.

Intensive protection against pop/wind noise is integrated in the microphone design and windscreens are included. Also included is a capsule protection cap, a cable clip that anchors the cable to your clothing, and a color-coded cable clip offering easy recognition of a specific headset among many.

A service connector splits the cable from the microphone boom and allows for a quick exchange of cable lengths/colors/connectors; valuable for servicing if a cable is damaged.

The 4188-DC-F-F10-LE series is delivered in a neat, professional roadworthy box with room for accessories like transmitters, batteries, and more.

From pianissimo to forte, you'll experience clear open sound, with minimized distortion and increased dynamic range. the 4188-DC-F-F10-LE captures everything from the ‘highest of the highs to the ‘lowest of the lows,’ further distancing these mics from their competitors.
