Countryman I2HH05SR-VKIT I2 Hypercardioid Violin / Viola Mic Kit, Senn. Evo. Series

A Mic Kit that's part of the I2 instrument microphone series from Countryman, the I2HH05SR-VKIT is designed for mounting the mic on a Viola or Violin. The I2 mic is a High-Gain, Hardwired/XLR Microphone assembly that provides a Hypercardioid polar pickup pattern, comes in a black finish, and offers compatibility with Sennheiser's Evolution Series transmitters (sold separately) via a 3.5mm locking connector - see compatibility under "Features" below.

I2 Series Instrument Microphone

Designed from the ground up by Countryman for smooth frequency response, low noise, and accurate polar patterns, with deep nulls and natural on- and off-axis response. It maintains exceptional pattern control and frequency response at all angles, for uncolored recordings and reduced feedback problems. The tiny size makes it ideal for distance miking that is all but invisible on-camera. Additionally, flexible new close-miking techniques are aided by the Countryman Violin and Viola Mount, which securely sits behind the bridge; just point the microphone toward the instrument's body.
