Engineered from the ground up for smooth frequency response, low noise, and precise polar patterns with deep nulls, Countryman's I2 Flute Microphone also features natural on- and off-axis response. Its tiny form factor makes it ideal for distance miking that's virtually invisible on camera. Flexible close miking techniques are aided by Countryman’s Flute Mount, an extremely low-profile mount which brings the microphone close for exceptional pickup and isolation. This particular model comes equipped with a Hirose 4-pin connector, compatible with: Audio Technica ATW-T1801, ATW-T27, ATW-T31, ATW-T51, ATW-T201, ATW-T210, ATW-T210a, ATW-T310, ATW-T310b for use with 200 Series, 100 Series, 1400 Series, 1800 Series, 2000 Series, 2000A Series, 3000 Series, 3000A Series transmitters (all sold separately). Additionally it features a hypercardioid polar pickup pattern. A narrower than the cardioid pick up pattern, it offers overall better rejection of ambient noise, and the working distance is about twice that of the omni pickup pattern. It has a small “pick-up lobe” directly behind the microphone, meaning that the maximum rejection areas are behind and to the sides (about 60 degrees away from the rear of the microphone on either side).
