Genelec's 1237A three-way smart active monitors.

This expansion brings the design of Genelec three-ways together with AutoCal(TM) and Genelec Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) in a single package. For 35 years Genelec has manufactured three-ways with proven accuracy and reliability for the most demanding applications.

The 1237A features the new advanced RAM-L (Remote Amplifier Module) amplifier. In standard configuration the RAM-L is mounted on the back of the enclosure. The RAM-L amplifier unit is 3U high and it can be rack-mounted, too. It supports the rapid system configuration and automated room response calibration, thus enabling fast installation of a highly reliable and accurate monitoring system.

The Genelex 1237A's integrate fully with all other monitors and subwoofers in the SAM Series.

Genelec three-ways feature a mid-range driver, which is designed and hand-made in the Genelec factory in Finland.

Note:

To enable GLM software to integrate with SAM monitors, the Genelec network adaptor kit (8300-601) is required– which includes the GLM network adaptor, 8300A calibration microphone and microphone holder, 1.8 m USB cable and Quick Connection Guide. The network adaptor connects to a Mac or PC via the supplied USB cable, and to SAM monitors via a 5 meter Ethernet cable (which is supplied separately with each SAM monitor).
