Audix SMT25 Shock Mount Stand Adapter for Pencil Condenser, i5 and VX5 Mics

The SMT-25 is an optional low-profile, cable suspended shockmount for many popular mics with a diameter of 21mm to 27mm. It works well with the Audix SCXs5A, SCX1, ADX51, and TM1 microphones. It can attach to any mic stand with either 3/8” or 5/8” threads and comes with a 3/8” threaded insert that adapts it to European-style stands.

The mic is held in place by a foam lined metal housing suspended by nylon cables in the center of the shockmount. For easy insertion of a mic, there are 2 metal clips that the user squeezes together to open the center-mounted mic housing. Mic angles are adjusted using the metal wingnut on the base.
