Vanguard Audio Labs VSSM Small Shockmount

The VSSM is a re-imagined small microphone shockmount with a widened inner diameter of 37.5mm, ensuring secure support for microphones up to 30mm in diameter, including pencil condensers, ribbon microphones, and medium-diaphragm condensers. Adding a 240º window to the VSSM body allows easy access to microphone switches without disrupting placement. To address the shortcomings of elastic bands in traditional shockmounts, Vanguard Audio opted for aerospace-grade rubberized suspension rings known for their durability and stability. These rings maintain firm support for all microphone sizes while effectively decoupling to eliminate unwanted rumble and vibration. Whether crossed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, the bands provide a secure grip for different microphone sizes. The VSSM, included with the Vanguard V1 Multi-Capsule Pencil Condenser Kit (sold separately), stands as a superior shockmount compatible with a wide range of condenser, ribbon, shotgun, and dynamic microphones, making it an indispensable accessory for your studio.
