DWe can seamlessly transition between a Pure Maple™ acoustic drum set and a fully wireless electronic kit. Standard components make it easy to convert the kit from acoustic to electronic, offering versatility for various playing scenarios. Built on the foundation of American-made, handcrafted acoustic shells and a proprietary wireless ecosystem, DWe empowers drummers to choose their preferred playing style, whether practicing in a bedroom, performing on global stages, recording in the studio, or creating original content.
Embarking on a new era of wireless electronic drums, DWe utilizes proprietary wireless technology, allowing drums to be ready straight out of the box with no wires or cables required. Simply sit down, play, and connect your drums to the included wireless DrumLink™ hub, seamlessly linking to your computer or audio interface. Setting up and tearing down has never been more straightforward.
Designed and manufactured at the DW Drums factory in California, DWe draws on five decades of American-made craftsmanship and innovation, delivering the premium quality expected from Drum Workshop. Each DWe e33™ shell is meticulously crafted from nine-ply Pure North American Hard Rock Maple in a patented 333™ shell configuration.
Featuring a true bearing edge on each drum and a mylar resonant head, DWe drums produce a subtle, low-volume tone for the player to hear the pitch of the shell when played electronically. Additionally, each shell effortlessly converts to a true acoustic DW drum, providing the expected excellence from DW Drums and more.
Incorporating electronic innovation into every DWe kit, features like a digiMAG snare throw off, pressure-sensing cross stick detection, and pitch bend capabilities make DWe the most authentic and natural playing electronic kit ever experienced. Leveraging an innovative wireless trigger solution that supports up to 10 zones and 16 velocities per drum, DWe offers a truly authentic range of dynamics for drummers. The combination of true DW shells mounted with the STM™ suspension system and graduated hoops makes DWe engineered for expression.
Powered by the included DW Soundworks™ software, DWe drums wirelessly connect to your computer through a low-latency wireless connection via the provided DrumLink USB hub. Supporting up to 30 active instruments at a time, the hub also converts wireless signals into MIDI data for DW Soundworks or third-party software integration. Using the included RTAP Audio Processor, DWe is easy to set up and control.
DW Soundworks, designed by DW, delivers a powerful software solution that puts drummers in control of their sound. With an intuitive, simple interface and advanced controls for those who want to fine-tune every detail, DW Soundworks provides the most authentic experience, whether powering DWe or functioning as a standalone VST. DWe has been designed to seamlessly integrate into any workflow. Connect DW Soundworks to any DAW, provide multi-channel outputs, or link it up to your favorite module.
Featuring DW Drums samples recorded at the DW factory to the exact specifications of the manufacturer, DWe includes the most authentic representation of DW sounds available. Moreover, the ability to add new sound packs to your library allows unparalleled customization of your sound. DW Soundworks facilitates complete sound customization and creation using advanced trigger settings and editing capabilities, providing up to 18 layers of multi-articulation definition per instrument.

This DWe 4-Piece Complete Kit bundle, featuring a Curly Maple Burst exotic finish, includes an 8x10” mounted tom, 12x14” floor tom, 14x20” bass drum, and 5x14” snare drum. The complete kit bundle also includes a license for DW Soundworks, a DrumLink wireless hub, RTAP Audio Processor, both acoustic and electronic drum heads for rapid conversion, and much more.
Included in this complete kit bundle are a DWe Cymbal Pack and DWCP5000PK4 hardware pack. The DWe Cymbal Pack includes a full setup of DWe cymbals with one 14” Hi-hat, one 16” Crash/Ride, one 18” Crash/Ride, and all cymbal mounting accessories. The metal cymbals fit traditional cymbal stands and offer a cable-free profile.
Engineered for performance, the 5000 Series hardware pack includes a 5000 Series bass drum pedal, one 5300 Snare Stand, one 5500TD Hi-Hat Stand, one 5791 Combo Stand (cymbal-tom stand), and one 5700 Cymbal Stand.
