AYRTON's addition to the HURACÁN family, a wash-type luminaire, showcases an entirely reimagined Fresnel lens equipped with a specialized optical structure. This design is tailored for use with framing barndoors, making it equally conducive for the inclusion of geometric gobos or ovalization lenses, all without limitations. A finely-tuned progressive diffusion system provides the flexibility to adjust the diffusion level to suit specific applications and accommodate various accessories or optical components. Furthermore, the Fresnel lens substantially enhances color mixing capabilities and can harness 10% more light compared to the use of a conventional Fresnel lens F.O.S.™.
The HURACÁN WASH features a proprietary optical system that boasts a remarkable 12:1 zoom ratio and a variable zoom range extending from 6.2° at half peak to 75° at one-tenth peak. Taking a page from the HURACÁN PROFILE's complex color mixing system, this new luminaire offers a double level of CMY saturation, capable of generating an astounding 281 trillion colors. It also incorporates a triple corrector for variable color temperature adjustment, allowing subtle shifts from 2700 K to 15000 K, which results in a notable improvement in CRI. This innovation is represented by T.C.S.™ (patent pending).
