IK's SampleTron 2 takes samples of vintage Mellotron® and Chamberlin tapes, sprinkles in new acoustic “non-Tron” sounds, and allows you to load your own samples to create Tron sounds that are truly yours. There's also a bunch of quirky early digital sample players and Vocoders included for you to play with. A library of over 400 "tracks" can be loaded up to three at a time into any preset for individual processing and tweaking with IK's cutting-edge tape modeling DSP to sculpt the sound you want. And the interface will leave you breathless. All ten models are stunningly detailed (insides included), so you feel as though your sitting at the actual instrument. But inner digital convenience belies the vintage exterior. SampleTron2 makes the ideal companion for the iRig Keys 2 or iRig Keys I/O (sold separately) giving you full control over the range over of the original instruments. With programmability, tone shaping, effects engines, and editing capabilities engineers didn't have at the time, SampleTron 2 offers an audible glimpse into what it might have sounded like if they did!
