Product Overview

Update, incorporate or create 2-channel PL (party-line) intercom systems with the Studio Technologies Model 545DR Dante 2-channel party-line intercom interface. The Model 545DR allows you to incorporate existing analog PL systems into current Dante audio-over-Ethernet (AoE) applications facilitating interconnection with Dante-supported devices like matrix intercom systems, digital audio processors, audio consoles, and more. Two stand-alone analog PL systems can also be linked together using the 545DR. When incorporating a legacy analog PL into a Dante AoE system additional devices such as the Model 5421 and Model 5422 Dante Intercom Audio Engine (sold separately) are required.

The 545DR is also ideal for new installations, allowing the creation of all Dante PL systems that quickly and easily interface with any broadcast, audio, and A/V gear that utilizes the Dante protocol. Audio quality is excellent with support for rates up to 24-bit / 48 kHz and outstanding digital to analog and analog to digital conversion.

Installation is straightforward and versatile, requiring a single Ethernet cable for power and network connection, or you can use the optional PS-DC-02 power supply (sold separately). If you prefer, PoE and DC power may be deployed simultaneously to create a redundant circuit. Analog connections are handled by standard 3-pin XLR jacks. The compact, rugged design allows you to use the 545DR in the studio or in the field as a "throw down" device. Optional rack mount kits are available separately.
