Both inputs are connected to each output channel, each equipped with a bypass switch. The level controls allow for precise mixing of each input with a range of 15 dB. Unity level is achieved at the undarkened circle position around 10 o'clock. The ABY MIX operates on a standard 9V power supply and can also be powered by a 9V battery if needed.

Below is an example of its application in a recording/live setup for seamless instrument switching. In a recording scenario, you can route your instrument to both an amplifier and a computer interface, capturing the amp's tone along with an isolated signal for digital modeling or re-amping.
