Product Overview

The CMIT 5, manufactured by SCHOEPS, represents a paradigm shift in the realm of shotgun microphones since its initial launch. This microphone's directivity exhibits a gradual and consistent increase as the frequency rises, resulting in a remarkably well-balanced sonic characteristic. Furthermore, the CMIT 5 effectively mitigates the impact of off-axis sounds by gently and consistently attenuating their volume, enabling neutral recording and minimizing the influence of movement during boom operation. Notably, despite its physical length, the CMIT 5 surpasses expectations by offering a significantly enhanced level of directivity. Moreover, the versatility of the CMIT 5 extends beyond its primary purpose, as it can be utilized for recording music, including opera performances, if desired.

Similarly, the MiniCMIT offers comparable functionality to the CMIT 5 but in a more compact form factor, making it particularly suitable for deployment alongside digital wireless transmitters.

Includes

  • CMIT 5 U Shotgun Microphone
  • W 140 Foam windscreen
  • SG 20 Mic Clip
  • Polished wood case

Features
