Product Overview
The SM82-EZ-II-WX is a cost-effective, high-efficiency surface-mount loudspeaker designed for distributed applications or 8 ohm setups. It incorporates Weather Guard qualities directly into the speaker, ensuring durability in challenging environments. The speaker features an 8-inch polypropylene woofer and an offset 1-inch soft dome tweeter with a waveguide for excellent intelligibility of background and foreground music and messaging, capable of reaching a maximum SPL of 106.0 dB. The SM82-EZ-II-WX includes a 64-watt low-insertion loss transformer and a six-position tap switch with a transformer bypass option. For mounting, it comes with a proprietary tool-free Stealth™ bracket with a direct drive cam-wedge, allowing stable and precise aiming up to 90 degrees in one direction. It has an IP65 rating, indicating its resistance to dust and water.
