Roland's V-160HD portable SDI/HDMI live streaming video switcher has the unique ability to flawlessly execute live productions while displaying the live streaming capabilities found in computer-based systems.
The flexibility to bring a single switcher to a live hybrid event makes sense from a workflow and convenience standpoint, as well as a budgetary one! The V-160HD tames mismatched frame rates and color spaces to expertly mix eight HDMI and eight SDI sources in Full HD. Built-in scalers on four of the HDMI inputs allow effortless interfacing with computers, tablets, smartphones, gaming consoles, and legacy 4:3 devices. The V-160HD also has your audio needs covered with XLR and RCA audio inputs and outputs.
You also get a high-end video matrix with seven freely assignable outputs that include three SDI, three HDMI, and one USB-C streaming connection. Send your production to a wide array of displays simultaneously and you can still have a "clean" output left for a recording feed.
30 preset memories, a powerful effects engine, and 100 available macros give you unparalleled control and customization that can be recalled at the touch of a button. Thanks to Roland's free remote control software for macOS, Windows, and iPad you'll have a large graphical interface for setting up and previewing actions before you take them live.
