Rose Brand's black 5 ft To 8 ft adjustable upright is a heavy-duty 2" diameter anodized aluminum upright to be used with Pipe & Base 1.0 systems. An auto-locking slip collar engages once the pole is raised to the desired height. The pressure gradient lock tightens by degrees as you press downward and releases by raising the inner pole and pressing the ring. The minimum height of adjustable uprights is equal to the lowest height of the pole plus the height of the Slip-Fit Pin.
