The StudioComm system consists of a Model 792 Central Controller with a Model 793 Control Console. It fills the need to monitor Dante digital sources and analog audio sources in a variety of surround formats and their associated channel counts. By incorporating an internal 16-channel architecture, the StudioComm allows support for a wide range of surround audio applications. The StudioComm with Dante Support system is equipped with Dante digital and analog audio inputs, Dante digital and analog monitor outputs, and a broad selection of operating resources, allowing the user to easily integrate a monitoring system into virtually any contemporary facility.

At the system’s heart is the Model 793 Control Console which is designed to reside at the user’s location, providing hands-on selection of all monitoring functions. It offers multiple LED indicators for complete status information and a backlit OLED display to show key operating and configuration parameters. The second half of the system is the Model 792 Central Controller that links with the Model 793 via a 9-conductor D-subminiature cable. The Model 792 is a one-rack-space unit and contains the required circuitry needed to support the Dante digital and analog audio input and output signals. An integral web server provides fast, flexible configuration of the unit’s networking, Dante, and audio performance, allowing system optimization for a variety of specific applications.
