Bridging the worlds of digital audio and video is precisely what AJA's OG-DANETE-12GAM was created for. Built around OpenGear framework, the OG-DANETE-12GAM delivers 32 channels of Dante audio embed/disembed simultaneously. It also provides a pair of 12G-SDI inputs and outputs at 4K with 16 channels of embedded audio support per SDI connection.
You can bridge, map, and embed from Dante sources to each SDI stream or disembed and send to specific Dante destinations via free Dante controller software. OG-DANETE-12GAM also comes with built-in redundancy across the 1 GigE Ethernet connections for Dante audio to provide security and peace of mind.
Dante's ease of incorporation to local and wide-area networks coupled with support for uncompressed, multi-channel, low latency high-resolution digital audio distribution over those networks has made it the de-facto standard for pro A/V system integrators. As Dante works its way into the broadcast industry, the list of 2500+ devices that support it will only grow.
