The PCC170-SWO is designed for use in boardroom tables or lecterns. It has a supercardioid polar pattern to minimize feedback and background noise, a bass-tilt switch to allow the user to shape the low-end response and reduce subsonic noise, and RFI suppression to ensure interference-free operation even with active cell phones nearby.

The PCC170-SWO features a silent operating programmable membrane switch that can be configured for touch on/off, momentary on or momentary off. It also has a pair of extra leads in the cable to allow isolated sensing of the mic switch closure.
