The HC-X2000 professional camcorder with 24x Optical Zoom picks up where the HC-X1500 left off with added output and audio options plus a detachable VW-HU1 handle.
A compact feature-rich pro camcorder designed to deliver stunning capture with maximum mobility. the X2000's wide 25mm (35mm camera equivalent) lens, 24x optical zoom, and 4K high-precision auto-focus capability captures subjects free from focus or exposure problems, wherever they are. In addition to Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization steadies your shots in a 5-axis direction that even compensates for handshake.
The included VW-HU1 handle provides a secure convenient way to carry and operate the X2000. This detachable handle has integrated 2-channel XLR inputs with phantom power, a mic holder, record button, zoom lever, and a dimmable LED video light. And to assure you capture the audio your video deserves, the X2000 records studio-quality 24-bit high-resolution linear PCM audio. Everything can be recorded directly to dual SD slots on SDHC or SDXC memory cards (sold separately). The X2000 is also equipped with HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs for confidence monitoring, presentation, or production needs.
The X2000's large eyecup fits either eye and can be tilted for maximum comfort while shooting. Monitoring and easy menu selection are provided via the 3.5" touch screen LCD designed for high legibility, even in bright light. Easily control incident light with the integrated ND filters that can be set to 1/4, 1/16, 1/64, or off to match your current environment.
