Converters on every input provide 115 dB of dynamic range to capture the true tonal character of any instrument you send through the Class-A analog XMAX preamps. The 8 XMAX preamps are designed with high-voltage power rails for more headroom and a fuller sound. They eschew op-amps or "chips" for a discrete component design that won't add noise or coloration to the signal. And, the Class-A circuits produce a truer, more musical signal without the crossover or "switching" distortion inherent in class A/B designs. With an eye on the future, the 2626 can easily expand your preamps and I/O with the addition of the DigiMax DP88 (sold separately).

Equipped with 26 inputs and outputs, the Quantum 2626 is suited for any size studio. With 8 balanced line I/O on XLR and 1/4" jacks, 16 optical I/O, SPDIF I/O, stereo main outs, and two separate headphone outputs, the Quantum can serve as the hub of your new studio or an upgrade to any existing setup. There are even two preamp direct outputs with returns so you can insert your prized analog outboard gear.
