Atlas IED IPS-SIS Wall-Mount SIP Strobe with Dome

The IPS-SIS indoor wall mount SIP strobe provides visible signaling in environments that have high ambient noise or large spaces that require visual notification. It takes advantage of the WAN/LAN network architecture as the IPS-SIS registers as a communication endpoint directly to a SIP based system.

When receiving SIP audio or calls via a configured multicast RTP stream, the IPS-SIS activates and blinks. When the audio broadcast is completed it stops blinking.

When used in a Cisco Environment, the IPS-SIS can join Cisco’s Unified Survivable Remote Site telephony (SRST) as a supported device in the SRST endpoint architecture. Cisco’s SRST provides remote location call-processing when access to their centralized Unified Communications Manager is interrupted due to a WAN outage. The ability of LAN communication between any combination of phones and speakers is critical in an emergency (which may be the actual cause of the WAN outage).
