An external microphone preamp allows the addition of any standard dynamic microphone to an existing built-in intercom system. You may already have one or more dynamics on hand so the LM-Micpre will make wise use of existing resources. Plus, you'll be freeing up channels on the system's personal mixers or console.

The beauty of using an external microphone is that users are not tied to a specific location. For instance, a musical director might place the mic at the podium to conveniently communicate and direct team members. An optional footswitch (not included) can be added to give the remote user control over the intercom mode function.
