Tama's Sound Lab Project (S.L.P.) G-maple snare is a synthesis of high-end hardwood and over 40 years of percussion innovation. Built on the foundation of an 11mm, 13ply maple shell, the SLP G-maple has a distinctive bright tone with ample volume and dynamic sensitivity.

Tama's 2.3mm flanged hoops and separate low-mass lugs enable the shell to resonate naturally adding the perfect low-mid punch to round out the signature G-maple sound. The LGM146KMB is equipped with an extremely sensitive hi-carbon snare wire allowing a closer fit to the snare-side head, resulting in a crisp articulation.
