Product Overview
The BPHS2 from Audio-Technica is a Dual-Ear Headset with onboard dynamic hypercardioid microphone that was created especially for news and sports Broadcasting. This rugged model offers highly-intelligible and commanding vocal reproduction, with a comfortable fit and excellent sound isolation. It features a low-profile, on-ear, closed-back design that's based upon the ATH-M60x professional monitor headphones and includes the same 45mm large-aperture driver, along with premium, memory foam earpad and headband, plus a memory foam temple pad – providing users a high-fidelity headset that’s built to last.
The mic's hypercardioid polar pattern keeps the focus of pickup on the Broadcaster’s voice, even in loud environments, and is tailored for rich, broadcast-ready sound reproduction of that voice. The mic sits at the end of a rigid boom with a strong, flexible gooseneck section that allows easy-yet-secure mic positioning adjustment. The boom's design also lets it swivel forward and back so that the headset can be worn with the mic positioned on either the right or left side.
