Atlona Technologies AT-HDR-EX-70C-KIT 4K HDR HDMI Over HDBaseT Transmitter-Receiver with Control and PoE

Atlona's AT-HDR-EX-70C-KIT is a transmitter/receiver kit that extends HDMI, power and control signals over HDBaseT, while supporting HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps. Combining latency-free, visually-lossless compression with the reliability and convenience of HDBaseT, this kit delivers pristine image quality over distances exceeding the limits of HDMI cabling.

The HDR-EX-70C-KIT is cost-effective and ideal for applications requiring the latest as well as emerging 4K/UHD and HDR sources and displays. It is compatible with all video resolutions, audio formats, and color space formats supported in the HDMI 2.0b specification, plus the ability to pass metadata for HDR content. The HDR-EX-70C-KIT supports 4K HDR10 @ 60 Hz and Dolby Vision @ 30 Hz.

This extender kit also features Power over Ethernet (PoE), with power for the receiver supplied by the transmitter via the HDBaseT connection. This streamlines integration, while allowing convenient and discreet receiver installation at a display or projector without the need for local AC power. At the transmitter end, the included power supply provides ample power for up to three Atlona HDBaseT extenders, reducing clutter caused by multiple power supplies in equipment racks.

Responding to the challenge of handling HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 video content that requires data rates in excess of 10 Gbps and up to 18 Gbps – the HDR-EX-70C-KIT provides the solution with visually lossless video compression technology that applies extremely light compression with no latency. This enables transmission of HDR and 4K/60 4:4:4 over a single category cable while ensuring very high image quality.

Producing exceptional value for both point-to-point AV extension and as part of larger 4K HDR routing and distribution systems in conjunction with other Atlona HDR-capable solutions such as the recently-released AT-HDR-H2H-44M matrix switcher.
