Audio-Technica's VM740ML MicroLine® stylus cartridge is a premier 700 Series cartridge model in their VM line. The VM line harkens back to the early days of A-T as a builder primarily of high-end phono cartridges, but now also employs advanced contemporary technology as well. Like all VM cartridges, the VM740ML comes equipped with dual magnets positioned to match the left and right channels in the stereo record groove, providing exceptional channel separation and extended frequency response. The cartridge’s MicroLine® stylus enables incredibly accurate tracing of the record groove, resulting in nuanced audio reproduction that neither elliptical nor conical styli can match. The multilevel shape of the stylus also wears better than other styli, reducing the wear on your records. Also includes mounting hardware.
