DPA 4018-DF-G-B01-045 4018 Supercardioid Gooseneck Microphone with 47cm Boom and XLR Cable

The DPA Microphones model 4018-DF-G-B01-045, part of the DPA flexible gooseneck microphone series, features a highly-directional supercardioid pickup pattern providing a smooth, uniform off-axis frequency response. This particular version comes with a 47cm (approx. 18") Boom with top and bottom gooseneck.

The series is modular by design, so the components can be combined and reconfigured to best meet your needs (various other components sold separately, contact your Sales Pro for more information).

The supercardioid pickup shape of the capsule is frequency independent, providing identical sound pickup color all around the microphone. The usual rear polar pickup lobe that can be heard on most supercardioids is minimized when using this capsule, so there's much more acoustic isolation without sudden frequency-dependent peaks and dips.

With no tools required, and at any time, it's possible to alter the 4018 Supercardioid Microphone's configuration into a new one (additional capsules/preamplifiers sold separately). In addition to its state-of-the-art preamplifier design and sleek appearance, it also offers excellent radio frequency rejection via DPA-designed impedance balancing with active drive.
