Audio-Technica's ATW-901a/H is part of their System 9 series, and features easy setup along with clear, natural sound quality. This particular product is a vocal outfit that includes the ATW-R900a receiver and ATW-901a UniPak® body-pack transmitter with PRO 8HEcW headworn microphone. It has sleek, stackable, and contemporary styling, and offers operation on 4 user-switchable VHF channels (see below).

The comfortable, lightweight PRO 8HEcW is based upon the PRO 8HEx Hypercardioid Dynamic Headworn Microphone, a professional-quality mic that combines highly-intelligible individual vocal pickup with hands-free operation. Great for guitarists, keyboard players, drummers and others who need to use their hands during performance, it comes with a low-visibility headband and cushioned support pads that provide a comfortable as well as stable fit. The PRO 8HEcW features a pivot-mounted flexible mic boom that descends from either the left or right side.

System 9 from Audio-Technica

A 4-channel frequency-agile wireless system, the System 9 is available in handheld, headworn, guitar, lavalier and body-pack configurations (other configurations available separately). The system offers four compatible user-switchable VHF channels (169.505, 170.245, 171.045, and 171.905MHz).

Each System 9 configuration includes a receiver and either a body-pack transmitter or handheld mic/transmitter. The ATW-R900a receiver is a non-diversity, single-channel receiver with advanced dipole antenna design for extended operating range, which improves operation by providing a ground element in addition to the usual signal element. It also offers volume control along with AF Peak, RF and Power indicator lights.
