Turbosound NuQ118B 18" Bandpass Subwoofer for Portable PA Applications, Black

The NuQ118B subwoofer from Turbosound is a 2,400 Watt (peak), 18" loudspeaker with dual-ported bandpass enclosure that's optimally-tuned for extended low frequency (LF) response. Designed to work in concert with Turbosound loudspeaker management systems, it extends system frequency response, provides very high output front-of-house (FOH) performance and is ideally suited for a broad array of music and live sound reinforcement applications. This model is the black-finished version (a white-finished version—NuQ118B-WH—is also available separately).

It features a powerful, double-suspension 18" LF driver that utilizes a specialized inside/outside wound voice coil, providing for higher magnetic density, high power-handling capacity, better heat dissipation, and enhanced efficiency. For its size and operating bandwidth, it delivers extremely high output that's virtually distortion free - even when used in the most demanding applications.

The cabinet comes finished in a highly durable semi-matt black paint, is constructed from ¾" (18mm) birch plywood, and includes: multiple threaded rigging points; a built-in 35mm pole socket; integrated carry handles for convenient transport and high-impact interlocking corners for ground-stacking stability. Additionally, its rear panel connector plate carries Neutrik speakON® NL4 connectors, plus switchable input and link connections to enable standalone subwoofer applications, or subwoofer and satellite speaker connectivity via 4-core speaker cabling.
