From Community's R Sereis of loudspeakers, comes the R.35-3896B, which is a full-range 3-way loudspeaker graced with a 90° x 0° nominal beamwidth that comes in the color black. This unit is housed in the same size enclosure as the 10-inch R.35COAX, and is a triaxial 8-inch Carbon Ring Cone loudspeaker featuring Community’s exclusive MultiSource Waveguide™ technology which adeptly integrates the output from dual midrange compression drivers and a 1-inch exit HF compression driver into a single coherent source. Fully passive, it is voiced for flat musical reproduction without EQ and delivers class-leading SPL levels for a loudspeaker of its size.

The R.35-3896 is a fully horn-loaded triaxial three-way, full-range loudspeaker system designed to provide high qualityvoice and music reproduction in applications requiring extreme weather resistance. It is designed to withstand long-term exposure to tough, environmental conditions and to provide musical performance normally only associated with indoor loudspeakers. The Music / Voice switch allows for additional application flexibility. The "Music" setting provides an out-of-the-box flat response and selecting "Voice"provides up to a 5dB boost for increased vocal projection and intelligibility. The LF cone is treated with the same NeverWet™ coating as the grille cloth to ensure trouble-free performance in the harshest conditions.
