The LLS is uniquely designed to prevent induced lightning surges that can occur to audio lines from damaging the connected equipment. Simply locate the LLS within the audio line after the source piece and close to the electronic equipment that you wish to protect.

Note: 2 LLS are required to protect both pieces.
