Schoeps MK-2XSG Omnidirectional Diffuse-Field Condenser Capsule with Matte Gray Finish for Colette Series Modular Microphone System

The Schoeps MK 2XS is an omnidirectional diffuse-field condenser capsule for the Colette Series modular microphone system. This capsule is designed for placement in a diffuse sound field, such as at distances in reverberant environments where the greater portion of the arriving sound has already been reflected from various room surfaces. In such placement, the integrated frequency response of the capsule is essentially flat; with a very slight boost above 6 kHz.
