Audio-Technica ATM250 HyperCardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone

A dynamic microphone with a hypercardioid polar pattern, and a natural with high SPL (sound pressure levels) the ATM250 is ideal for musical instrument pickup in the studio and on stage — especially tailored for kick drum, percussion, brass and other highly dynamic instruments. It has a rich, warm low-frequency response that gives the microphone excellent presence. The microphone is equipped with a rare earth neodymium magnet. The hypercardioid polar pickup pattern is more sensitive to sounds originating from directly in front of the element, thus making it useful for controlling feedback and reducing pickup of unwanted audio. It also includes a professional isolation clamp to provide secure mounting, versatile positioning and effective dampening of unwanted mechanical noise.
