Sanken HAD-48 Mic Preamp for Dynamic Mic

Because dynamic microphones have lower output levels than condenser microphones, long cable lengths often result in a noticeably noisy signal. Sanken’s innovative HAD-48 solves this dilemma by increasing the microphone level considerably without degrading the signal. Providing a choice of switchable 20dB or 40 dB of gain, this greatly improves the signal-to-noise ratio. Additionally, increased noise due to added gain in the microphone preamp can be reduced.

The HAD-48 features an XLR-M XLR-F tube only 105.3mm long and runs off 48V phantom power from the mixer input (no batteries needed!) and draws only 3mA.
