Telex SoundMate personal listening systems help overcome background noise and poor building acoustics that can make listening difficult for the hearing-impaired listener. The SM-2 System includes an ST-300 base transmitter, 4 SR-50 receivers, 4 SEB-1 earbuds, and a SoundMate wall plaque. The ST-300 features 17 user-selectable frequencies digitally controlled from the front-panel controls, a headphone jack with adjustable level, and a backlit LCD display. On the back of the unit is a balanced XLR-3F as well as an unbalanced 1/4" input. The SR50 single-channel receiver provides clear reception and the simplicity of a fixed channel. Ergonomic design makes adjustments easy, and two AA batteries provide up to 30 hours of continuous battery life.
