This shelf was just what I needed for my MMF 5.3 TT. I like that the shelf is deep enough (16") so the lid can be opened without hitting the wall. I also like that the mounting dimensions are on 16" center so it can be fastened to studs in the wall. It is sturdy and I haven't had any issue with feedback even though the left speaker is within 4 feet of it. And the actual reason I purchased this was because I got tired of having to tip-toe up to the turntable to keep the arm from jumping.
