The Bluesound Professional B170S is a comprehensive solution for commercial music installations, seamlessly integrating a high-quality stereo low impedance and constant voltage amplifier with a BluOS-enabled network music player. The amplifier section delivers 2 x 80W at 4/8Ω, 2 x 100W at 70V, or 1 x 100W at 100V, catering to small/medium spaces. With thermostatic fan cooling for reliability, the amplifier is energy-efficient and has a standby mode consuming only 6W. Constant voltage outputs enable powering long chains of small speakers with variable power tapping at each speaker, providing local volume control. The B170S's flexible form factor allows vertical or horizontal mounting on shelves, tables, or walls. Utilizing the optional RM160 rack mounting shelf, up to six B170S units can be rack-mounted side-by-side in a 3U space for a compact 12-channel system with independent or grouped zones.
