The Ibanez EHB1505 introduces a headless design to 5-string basses, combining ergonomic design with versatile sound capabilities. - Ergonomic Body Design: The EHB’s headless construction and specially designed body enable the player to maintain a similar playing position whether seated or standing.
- Slated Body Back: The top half of the back of the body is slanted which allows the bass to rest slightly closer to the player’s body for better control and a more ergonomic feel.

- Vari-Mid 3-Band EQ w/EW Bypass Switch: The Vari-mid 3-band EQ includes a variable mid-frequency control for a broad spectrum of sound customization. Additionally, it features an EQ bypass switch, enabling passive operation, with the treble control acting as a passive tone control when the EQ is bypassed.
- MR5HS Mono Rail Bridge W/String Spacing Adjustable Saddles: The EHB basses are equipped with the specialized MR5HS bridge, offering a wide intonation range. Each bridge piece is independently attached to the body, ensuring optimal vibration transfer. Adjustable saddles accommodate string spacing preferences (+/-1.5mm) for various playing styles. Teflon washers on each tuner provide a smooth tuning action.
