Uniquely designed to ensure that the output level remains constant at unity regardless of your threshold or ratio settings, the 225L allows for real-time adjustments without the need to alter your output levels. With selectable options for both "feed-forward" and "feedback" methods on the front panel, you can choose between two distinct gain reduction styles, catering to a range of compression preferences. Additionally, the SOFT or HARD selector provides further flexibility, offering a subtle or more pronounced compression effect. Featuring adjustable release and attack times, with continuously variable options, the API 225L allows for precise customization of program dynamics. Designed for individual channel use or stereo applications via external linking (nuits sold separately), it also includes a side-chain input for external triggering. Compatible with Legacy, Legacy Plus, or Vision Series Consoles, as well as the L200 Rack (all sold separately), the API 225L boasts the reliability, longevity, and studio-grade audio quality that API is known for.
