ChamSys GeNetix GN5 5-Port Ethernet-DMX Node

The GeNetix Node 5 serves as a versatile solution for remote data distribution across various applications, supporting Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene functionalities. Compatible with Art-Net, sACN, and RDM protocols, it offers full configuration from ChamSys consoles, its built-in web server, or the unit's display. With configurable DMX ports, it can function as both input and output, featuring adjustable DMX timings. Equipped with two network ports, it can be powered via PoE or mains through its powerCON TRUE1 line input. Whether standalone, truss-mounted, DIN rail mounted, or rack-mounted, its flexibility caters to diverse environments.

The interface's LTC and MIDI ports facilitate Timecode and MIDI notes input/output to MagicQ systems via ChamNet, supporting Art-Net timecode for compatibility with other systems. When connected to MagicQ PC Systems via USB, GeNetix Node 5 unlocks MagicQ PC Systems in Full Unlocked Mode, enabling it to act as a gateway for Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene, granting access to the full capabilities of MagicQ software across Linux, Mac, or PC platforms. As an Art-Net/sACN node, it unlocks up to 2 MagicQ Instances via Network.
